MK Dons make four changes to the side that beat Bury 4-1 on Saturday, with Ian McLoughlin, Daniel Powell, Adam Chicksen and Alan Smith all coming into the starting XI.
All three players were named on the bench last weekend but come into the side looking to topple the Premier League Black Cats.
Ian McLoughlin will make his first appearance of the season, replacing David Martin, who is ill, in-between the sticks.
Daniel Powell takes the place of Jay O’Shea on the right hand side of an attacking trio, while Adam Chicksen comes in for Jon Otsemobor who is also ill.
Alan Smith is given the nod up front as he searches for his first goal of the season, with Charlie MacDonald and Ryan Lowe taking their place on the bench.
There is also room on the bench for youngsters Charlie Burns, Dele Alli and Mason Spence.
