The rock-truck lineup has been confirmed ahead of tomorrow’s first Citizen Family Dons Big Day of the season.
Events start from midday on Saturday outside the Arena and will provide entertainment for all the family prior to the Dons’ tough League 1 clash with newly-promoted Crewe Alexandra.
While supporters enjoy the fun activities that will take place prior to kick-off, including Olympic taster sports such as sailing, rowing and korfball, they will also be treated to some fantastic live music from Milton Keynes’ hottest talent on the popular rock truck.
Some of the artists on show include 15-year-old Chloe Allen who performed at the same event last season and Gillian McKenzie who is currently competing in the Open Mic UK national signing competition.
Later on in the afternoon, the town’s own London 2012 Olympians will be interviewed live on stage giving fans the opportunity to hear from the athletes that represented Great Britain fantastically in the summer. Confirmed Olympians include Handball captain Bobby White, Paralympic footballer Alistair Patrick-Heselton and Paralympic fencer Gabi Down.
The full rock-truck lineup is as follows:
12.15pm: Gillian McKenzie
12.40pm: Emily Orchard
1pm: Georgia Boyd
1.30pm: Bailey McConnell
2pm: Radcliffe Rollers
