It is the return of the popular Citizen Family Dons Day at stadiummk on Saturday.
With a bumper crowd expected there are a number of travel options available to all those wishing to attend the game against Crewe Alexandra and the activities around the stadium, which include Milton Keynes Council’s Olympic and Paralympic celebrations.
Specifically for this game against Crewe Alexandra, the Grafton Street entrance (Postcode reference: MK1 1ST) will be limited to pass holders and hotel guests only. All public match day parking will be accessed via Saxon Street (Postcode reference: MK1 1LH) only.
There will be no through route access across the activities taking place around the arena.
Away fans should follow the ‘Football Coaches’ signs.
Free Park and Ride
A free public Park & Ride Arriva service will be in operation from Milton Keynes College, Woughton East Campus off Chaffron Way.
One bus will operate every 30 minutes from the College, commencing at 11.30am with the last bus departing to the stadium at 2pm.
A return service will operate from 11.45am every 30 minutes from the Grafton Street/DW Sports bus stop with the last bus departing the stadium at 2.45pm. For those staying for the game, the Club’s regular match day shuttle bus service will return to the College after the game, at the usual fare of £1.50.
Shuttle bus matchday service
The MK Dons Football Express shuttle bus service, provided by Bill’s Minibuses, will run as usual. Route 1 starts at Bletchley Railway Station from 1pm and every twenty minutes until 2.20pm. From there it stops at Bletchley bus station before arriving at stadiummk with the last scheduled arrival at 2.34pm.
Alternatively, Route 2 kicks off from Milton Keynes Central Railway Station from 1pm with a stop on Midsummer Boulevard by JD Wetherspoons. This Saturday the MK Dons Football Express service will not stop at the College, but will operate as normal post-match for those staying for the game.
Operating every 30 minutes, the Route 2 service leaves MK Central station for the last time on at 2.30pm with the last arrival at stadiummk being 2.51pm. The Route 2 return picks up on Grafton Street from 4.50pm and is every half hour until the last run at 6.50pm.
