Good Signs for the Academy

Signs Express invest in Dons youth...

With the new football season in full swing, Signs Express (Milton Keynes) is delighted to announce it will be improving on its successful sponsorship programme to encourage and promote youth football at MK Dons Academy.

As with many clubs, young talent is the lifeblood for improving the quality of the team and galvanising the support of fan and local community alike. It can also be a potential source of income as transfers can boost the bank balance.

For a local business like Signs Express (Milton Keynes) it remains a powerful way putting something back into the community they have served these past 15 years.

In 2012/13, they will be more involved than ever. As well as supplying important equipment to the youth academy players, Signs Express (Milton Keynes) will be working closely with Director of Youth Mike Dove to ensure they supply what he needs.

Funding will continue to come directly from Signs Express (Milton Keynes) through their very different kind of community partnership. For every pound spent through Signs Express (Milton Keynes) by businesses associated with the MK Dons on any day throughout the entire 2012/13 season, they will contribute 10 per cent towards the youth academy. In 20012/13, they have set a target of £1000 – which they guarantee to make!

Stuart Harrison, Managing Director of Signs Express, believes businesses like him can make a real difference to local clubs. He said: “Working with the community is an important responsibility of any local business,so we’re excited about improving our youth academy partnership with the MK Dons in the coming season.”

Stuart is looking forward to handing over a bigger cheque at the end of the season.
