Crewe team news

29 September 2012

Karl Robinson makes three changes to the team that started against Sunderland on Tuesday, with David Martin, Jay O’Shea and Charlie MacDonald all coming into the side.

Martin, who succumbed to illness prior to the Capital One Cup clash with the Black Cats, returns in goal while O’Shea and MacDonald take the places of Daniel Powell and Alan Smith respectively.

Adam Chicksen, who picked up the Man of the Match award in the week, continues in defence, as do Antony Kay and Shaun Williams with Gary MacKenzie still out injured.

Today's loan signing Scott Allan has received clearance by the Football League and is named on the bench alongside Jon Otsemobor who returns after illness.

Crewe make one change from the side that drew 1-1 with Leyton Orient last weekend with yesterday's loan signing Andy Bond coming in to replace the injured Abdul Osman.

Highly-rated duo Ajay Leitch-Smith and Max Clayton continue up front for the Alex who welcome back Mathias Pogba, brother of Juventus youngster Paul, to the squad after injury kept him out of the draw with Orient.
