Scunthorpe team news

27 October 2012

Dons boss Karl Robinson makes two changes to the side that lost to Crawley on Tuesday, with Stephen Gleeson and Alan Smith both starting.

Gleeson, who was only named on the bench against the Red Devils because of a foot injury he picked up against Stevenage last weekend, comes back into midfield while Smith is given the nod to lead the line up front.

The inclusion of Gleeson means Shaun Williams goes back into defence to partner Antony Kay with Mathias Kouo-Doumbe dropping to the bench.

Dean Bowditch, who has returned to training following an injury, isn't named in the squad which means loanee Angelo Balanta continues on the left-wing opposite Daniel Powell on the right.

There is also a place on the bench for Academy prospect Dele Alli, as he replaces Scott Allan who returned to West Brom this week upon the completion of his loan spell.

Scunthorpe United: Slocombe; Ribeiro, Walker, Mirfin, Reid (c), Jennings, Duffy, Collins, Newey, Hawley, Prutton.
