MK Dons youth-team prospect Giorgio Rasulo scored the winner for England U-16s on Thursday night, in their 1-0 victory over Scotland in the Sky Sports Victory Shield.
Kenny Swain’s side won the prestigious trophy for a 12th consecutive year thanks to Rasulo’s injury-time strike, despite only needing a draw to secure their place as champions.
The 15-year-old came on as a half-time substitute for the Three Lions and impressed with his frightening pace and skilful play. His moment came, though, deep into stoppage time when the local starlet raced onto a loose ball inside the Scottish penalty area and confidently curled the ball into the top right-hand corner to give the national side the victory.
