Loan round-up

18 November 2012

George Baldock made his first appearance since the end of October for Tamworth this weekend, after returning from injury.

Baldock came on in the 84th minute as the Lambs came from behind to earn a point against Cambridge United. Forward Charlie Collins also featured as a 72nd minute substitute.

Jabo Ibehre played a part in both Colchester United’s goals as they beat Bury to earn their first win in four games.

The Islington-born striker crossed for Anthony Wordsworth to head home the opener before his dummy allowed Freddie Sears to tap home a second. Ibehre was then replaced by former-Dons loanee Clinton Morrison in the 76th minute.

Elsewhere, Tom Flanagan missed out on Gillingham’s 2-1 victory over Morecambe after playing 45 minutes for Northern Ireland U-21s against England during the week while Jordan Ivey-Ward and Awadh Ahmed’s Histon saw their game with Colwyn Bay postponed.
