Manager Karl Robinson has named a strong side ahead of the Dons’ FA Cup opener with Cambridge City, with only three changes from the side that beat Scunthorpe United last weekend.
Wide duo Jay O’Shea and Adam Chicksen come into the starting XI in place of the injured Daniel Powell and the unavailable Angelo Balanta while Ryan Lowe is given the nod up top.
Dean Bowditch is still nursing a knock picked up in training while striker Charlie MacDonald misses out due to illness.
Luke Chadwick, who scored a brace in the 3-0 victory over the Iron last time out, is given the captain’s armband for the game as he returns to the ground he used to play at when he was a youngster.
Also, there are places on the bench for Academy quartet Brendan Galloway, Harry Hickford, Giorgio Rasulo and Dele Alli, the former having travelled with the first team for their last two League fixtures.
