Karl Robinson has been nominated for the npower League 1 Manager of the Month Award for November.
The Dons boss guided his side to four wins and one draw in an unbeaten month which saw the men from MK1 climb up the table to narrow the gap on League leaders Tranmere Rovers.
During the month Robinson’s impressive side picked up victories against Leyton Orient, Colchester and fellow promotion rivals Sheffield United and Tranmere Rovers.
The Dons scored 10 goals in their five games, kept three clean sheets and conceded just three goals in November.
Robinson faces stiff competition for the award though as he has been nominated alongside AFC Bournemouth’s Eddie Howe and Brentford chief Uwe Rosler.
Howe collected three League wins and two draws in November as the side extended their unbeaten run to 10 games since the manager returned to south coast.
Rosler saw his Bees side pick up four wins and one draw as Brentford consolidated their play-off credentials in November.
Meanwhile, Doncaster’s Rob Jones, Leyton Orient’s Kevin Lisbie and Brentford’s Simon Moore have all been nominated for the Player of the Month in League 1.
The winners will be announced on Friday 14th December 2012, with the final decision being made by two separate Football League judging panels.
The Manager of the Month award is decided by former Charlton Athletic manager Alan Curbishley, Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson, League Managers Association Deputy CEO Olaf Dixon and npower Sponsorship Manager Emma Collins.
The Player of the Month panel sees Emma Collins joined by Wolves legend Don Goodman, BBC Sport’s Mark Clemmit and The Football League’s Head of Communications, John Nagle.
