Dons and arrows - tonight!

9 December 2012

This evening MK Dons will be firing from close range when they take part in the Celebrity Pro-AM Charity Darts night at stadiummk.

The event, partnered by local firms Close UK and MES Limited, will take part in the Clydesdale Bank Ballroom in a cracking Christmas celebration of darts with former-PDC World Champion Adrian
Lewis, Steve Beaton and former double World Champion Dennis “The Menace” Priestley all taking part.

Mick “Heart Throb” Harford and Alex “Hotshot Hamish” Rae will represent the first team coaching staff at the event while the likes of Antony “Ant the Tank” Kay, Gary “Jaggy Thistle” MacKenzie, Alan “Pride of Yorkshire” Smith and Darren “The Wizard” Potter will take centre stage along with Dean Bowditch, Ian McLoughlin, Jimmy Bullard, BBC 3 Counties Radio host Luke Ashmead and Ground Force’s Tommy Walsh.

While the darts extravaganza is all in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, the Football Leagues official charity of 2012/13, and the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust’s disability teams, that hasn’t stopped the Dons contingent from taking preparations extremely seriously.

The nicknames have been finalised, the shirts picked, the practice darts thrown and the entrance music selected, now it’s all about who performs all right on the night.

There is still time to snap up your tickets for this event, which starts from 6pm, from the Box Office thecentre:mk. For only £10 per head with a season ticket or £12 without, you can be a part of what is sure to be a memorable evening of darts and laughs at the Clydesdale Bank Ballroom at stadiummk.

All proceeds from the event will to Prostate Cancer UK and also to the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust to support disability football. Supporters can also help raise even more by taking part in various raffles, sweepstakes and photo opportunities.

Please note that the event is open to Over 18’s only. Food and pitchers of beer will be served throughout the evening.
