Do you support the Dons and live in Buckingham? If you do, then you’ll be delighted to know the Buckingham Big Day is back for another year.
Taking place on Saturday 16th February when Karl Robinson’s side face Swindon Town in a tasty League 1 encounter, the ever-popular Big Day allows fans with an MK18 postcode the chance to purchase tickets at the reduced rate of only £10 for adults and £3 for under-18s.
That’s not all though, with many exciting events taking place in the run-up to the game, in and around the historic town of Buckingham.
Starting with a Young Peoples Event on 17th January, 11-18 year olds will have the opportunity to meet two MK Dons players as well as take part in various games and activities with them. Tickets for this event are free and available from Pete Downing on 01908 564933. The evening will take place between 6.30pm and 8pm at The Project Street Life premises which is situated at Salvation Army, Moreton Road, Buckingham MK18 1JZ.
Following on from that, there will be an Under-13s Roadshow at the Royal Latin School on 24th January, where children under the age of 13 can take part in sporting activities with four MK Dons players. Tickets for this event are also free and are available to buy from the MK Dons Box Office, Royal Latin School and various primary schools around the town.
Then finally, on 31st January, a fans forum will take place at Buckingham Athletic Football Club from 7.30pm to 9pm where people may put their questions to a panel made up of Chairman Pete Winkelman and manager Karl Robinson. Tickets for this are, once again, free of charge and are available from the Old Gaol.
