Today marks 1,000 days before the Rugby World Cup 2015 gets underway in England.
For the first time Rugby World Cup Ltd is holding a competitive bidding process with 17 venues battling it out to host tournament matches.
stadiummk is one of the 17 long-listed venues, but it up against the likes of Brighton’s Amex Stadium, Derby’s Pride Park and St Mary's in Southampton in trying to become one of the final 12 host stadiums.
Northampton Saints have expressed their support for Milton Keynes Council’s bid to become a host city, with the Saints management believing that having Rugby World Cup matches just a short distance from Northampton will grow the sport throughout the area.
By filling stadiummk on Sunday 30th December, when Saracens play host to Northampton Saints in the Aviva Premiership, you will show that the home of MK Dons deserves to be a part of the world’s third largest sporting event.
