AFC Wimbledon team news

2 December 2012

Dean Lewington comes back into the side for the clash with AFC Wimbledon, as manager Karl Robinson makes two changes from the team that beat Colchester United last weekend.

Lewington, who limped off early in the 2-2 draw with Shrewsbury Town 12 days ago, has been declared fit to start and so returns to left-back in place of Adam Chicksen.

Patrick Bamford, who suffered a re-occurrence of a knock picked up against Colchester United in training, isn’t named in the squad and therefore is replaced by Ryan Lowe who will lead the line up top for the Dons.

Loan trio Angelo Balanta, Ibra Sekajja and Zeli Ismail have all been allowed permission to play by their respective clubs with the former starting on the left-hand side of a front three.

MK Dons (4-2-3-1): Martin; Otsemobor, Kay, Williams; Lewington (c); Gleeson, Potter; Bowditch, Chadwick, Balanta; Lowe.

Subs: McLoughlin (GK), Kouo-Doumbe, MacDonald, Smith, Chicksen, Sekajja, Ismail.

AFC Wimbledon: Sullivan, Osano, Long, Harrison, Midson, Moore, Fenlon, Gregory (c), Antwi, Mambo, Ajaja.

Subs: Jaimez-Ruiz (GK), Balkestein, Mitchel-King, McNaughton, Johnson, Strutton, Djilali.
