Season ticket sales have exceeded the 5,500 mark at stadiummk.
The impressive figure currently stands at 5,517, which exceeds last year’s final total by almost 400 which included half-season tickets, has been achieved thanks to Dons fans embracing the new ‘Football Is A Simple Game And So Are Our Prices’ campaign.
The prices across the ground have been simplified and unified to one price although supporters have the ability to upgrade to East Premium and corporate areas such as clubRed for at an increased price.
Chairman Pete Winkelman said: “We are over the moon with the season ticket sales to date. We knew our new approach with simplified pricing would be greeted with a good reaction but the response from the people of Milton Keynes and further afield has been incredible.
“There are not many places in the country where under-18s could watch 23 live games for £24 but at stadiummk we know the youth of MK are the future of MK Dons and it is great to see there is an appetite for football in our youngsters.
“Karl and his team are really making ago of things this year, they are clear on their ambitions of finally achieving promotion to the Championship and the increased level of support will go a long way to assisting our team in a long and hard season.”
The sales are expecting to continue to rise over the coming weeks, especially with the Top Recruiter competition drawing to a close. The Club has vowed to reward supporters who can recruit new adult season ticket holders for 2012/13.
For every supporter you recruit, you will receive money off your 2013/14 season ticket!
The eventual Top Recruiter will able to enjoy lunch with the first team manager, Karl Robinson, and ask all the questions you have ever wanted to ask! Hospitality for two at a home League fixture and an invite into the Directors’ Box to watch the game, plus much, much more.
The leading recruiter has signed up three season ticket holders, so there is still time for a late run to pip them to the post!
To earn Sign Them Up rewards the new season ticket holder must purchase the season ticket by 31st August 2012.
