Milton Keynes Dons take on newly-promoted Swindon Town on Saturday in a match that will see two promotion contenders lock horns for the first time since Town were relegated to League Two two years ago.
After winning League Two last season under the guidance of manager Paulo Di Canio, the Robins are tipped to challenge at the top end this season having added well to their championship winning side from last year.
Di Canio has brought in no less than seven new players over the summer including former Dons midfielder Alan Navarro, full-back Jay McEveley and League One’s sixth top goalscorer last season Andy Williams.
Swindon Town have started their season well, beating Championship side Brighton & Hove Albion in the Capital One Cup First Round before playing out a goalless draw with Hartlepool United last Saturday.
Karl Robinson is fully aware of the challenge he faces but is confident that his side, who have picked up four points out of six so far this season, can get one over the Robins and keep up their good form.
