FREE Stadium MK tours in the build-up to Ability Counts Big Day

Clash with Doncaster Rovers to play host to the Ability Counts Big Day...

27 March 2018

MK Dons will be running three stadium tours next month in the build-up to the Ability Counts Big Day.

The Stadium MK tours are for supporters with a disability and they will take place on Thursday 12th April at 4.30pm, 5.00pm and 5:30pm.

On each of the tours, fans will be able to go behind-the-scenes at Stadium MK while they will also get an opportunity to ask questions to a first-team player and a member of staff.

To book a place on one of the three tours, visit the Box Office at Stadium MK, call 0333 200 5343 or email boxoffice@mkdons.com. Alternatively, you can pick your tickets up from the kiosk at centre:mk.

The Ability Counts Big Day aims to promote the facilities available at Stadium MK to supporters with disabilities, as well as highlight the work undertaken by the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust (SET), including its 20 disability teams.

On the day of the game, MK Dons SET will be running a series of demonstration games with the disability teams from 9.30am until midday at the Club’s training facility at Woughton on the Green. Spectators and new players are welcome to attend.

Fans representing the Dons’ disability teams, along with Doncaster Rovers supporters and guest teams from other clubs who take part in disability football, will also perform a half-time parade around the pitch to promote disability awareness in a celebration of football.

What’s more, the Football Club will also be officially opening their Changing Places facility at Stadium MK. The Changing Places room is a specialised disabled toilet facility and has been built thanks to the terrific support of MKDSA, who have worked hard to raise funds over the past 15 months – click HERE for more information!
