MK Dons Women look to build on their back-to-back league victories as they prepare to host Ipswich Town at Stadium MK.
The team have produced their best-ever start to a season in their history after seeing back-to-back wins following the season opener draw. It’s a milestone that Charlie Bill’s Women will seek to continue as they head into Sunday afternoon.
A mid-week triumph over London Bees on the road has seen the rise of momentum and confidence within the side, but the third game of the week will prove another tough test at Stadium.

THE OPPOSITION
Ipswich Town have gained a total of six point so far this season, a season opener success over Cardiff City Ladies was soon added to with a convincing 7-1 victory over Plymouth Argyle Women to amount the total of six points collected.
However, a recent setback against the newly promoted Hashtag United will have the Tractor Girls keen to return to their winning ways.
LAST TIME OUT
MK Dons Women saw a triumphant 3-0 mid-week win over London Bees in their first game on the road this campaign. This result provided back-to-back spoils for Charlie Bill’s Women, who are yet to suffer defeat.
Megan Attenborough opened the scoring within the first ten minutes of the match, Laura Mitchell then doubled the advantage on the 26-minute mark. Not long after the interval, Amy McLean added the third and final goal of the fixture.
Ipswich suffered their first loss of the season against Hashtag United. The home side conjured a 2-0 lead as the teams entered the break. Shortly after, the travelling team had pulled one back, but it was later cancelled out by Hashtag, who restored their two-goal lead.
Although Sunday’s opponents were able to convert a penalty in injury time, it was too little too late. The match ended in a 3-2 defeat for the Tractor Girls.
TEAM NEWS
Following her contribution against London Bees, Laura Mitchell has found the target in each of the three league games played for far. The forward has scored a goal in each separate league fixture and will hope to continue that streak on Sunday.
