Charlie Bill’s Women search for back-to-back FAWNL Southern Premier Division league victories as they host Plymouth Argyle at Stadium MK on Easter Sunday.
The Dons’ previous matchup also saw a Stadium MK outing against Bridgwater United, a league opponent that’s currently battling relegation. A well-earned 4-1 victory has placed sixth and back-to-back successes could see a rise into the top five of the league table.
Alongside three points, MK Dons Women’s forward Mollie Coupar claimed a remarkable accolade as her brace awarded her with a total of 25 goals during the current campaign. An incredible achievement, which could be heightened with four league games remaining.
This fixture is scheduled to take place on Sunday 9 April at Stadium MK, Milton Keynes, Stadium Way, MK1 1ST. Kick-off is timed for 4:30pm.
Tickets for this tie are available at £5 for adults whilst Under-18s go FREE.
THE OPPOSITION
Plymouth Argyle currently place tenth within the league table, just one point above the drop zone. Sunday’s opponents are yet to have drawn a game, but they have recorded the greatest number of losses this season whilst five wins have awarded them with their 15 points earned.
Argyle have struggled to find a result in their previous five fixtures, which has seen them suffer defeats throughout March. The travelling team’s last result concluded as a 4-1 victory over Cheltenham Town in late February.
LAST TIME OUT
Charlie Bill’s Women claimed a 4-1 victory at Stadium MK in their previous league outing against a side in a similar position to that of Sunday’s opponents. Leyla O’Brien’s hat-trick of assist supplied a goal for Tricia Gould, as well as a brace for Mollie Coupar.
Coupar’s record-breaking 25 goal of the current campaign was then added to by Laura Mitchell to complete the 4-1 triumph over Bridgwater United. A Stadium MK result that Charlie Bill will look to replicate on Easter Sunday.
UPCOMING ACCOLADES
