MK Dons Women made it three wins from three in all competitions to start the 2019/20 season courtesy of a 2-1 victory over Keynsham Town.

Anya Kinnane and Jade Bell (pictured above) were on target for Owen Evans and Charlie Bill’s side, who now sit third in the FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division table.

It was Keynsham who took the lead 24 minutes in but Kinnane levelled the scores moments before half-time with her first goal of the season - a thumping header from Rebecca McShane’s pin-point delivery.

The Dons missed the chance to take the lead on 65 minutes as they failed to convert from the penalty spot but they did edge in front with a quarter of an hour left to play.

Leah Littlechild did brilliantly in the build-up, travelling 60 yards before playing a ball across to Bell to finish.

Next up for MK Dons Women is a trip to Gillingham on Saturday.
