MK Dons Ladies kept their promotion hopes alive after a convincing 6-2 victory over Leyton Orient at the Matchroom Stadium.
James Honeyman’s side led 3-2 at the break, despite the hosts fighting back from two goals down to level things up.
Heather McDonnell then scored twice in the second half to make the Dons’ lead safe before Anna Loftus capped the afternoon off with a sixth goal – a 30-yard lob over the Orient goalkeeper.
The win means the Dons remain in the hunt for top spot - they are nine points adrift with four games in hand on leaders AFC Wimbledon.
They travel to sixth-placed Stevenage on Wednesday looking to close that gap further.
