Kabongo Tshimanga will remain with MK Dons until at least June 2017 after having the one-year option in his contract exercised after the conclusion of the 2015/16 season.

The exciting young striker signed his first professional contract with the Dons in January 2015, penning a one-and-a-half-year deal.

Tshimanga, who has been with the Club since the age of nine, was in tremendous form for the Under-18s during the 2014/15 season, scoring a whopping close to 50 goals – including five braces and three hat-tricks.

He made his senior debut in a 4-3 FA Cup victory over Port Vale in November 2014 but spent most of last season out on loan with the likes of Chelmsford City and Corby Town, before joining Icelandic side Throttur Reykjavik for the summer in May 2016.
