The Romford-born custodian, who began his career with Wimbledon and made the transition to Milton Keynes, made 25 appearances for the Dons before joining the then-European champions Liverpool in January 2006.
His four-year stay at Anfield saw him become a regular with the Reds reserves, who won the Premier Reserve League northern title in 2007/08, though his first team opportunities were limited by the outstanding form of Spaniard Pepe Reina.
Martin returned to the Club in 2010 and instantly earning the number 1 shirt. Since then, he has tallied over 290 appearances and almost 100 clean sheets.
His 2015/16 season was cut short due to a fractured hand – an injury he’ll be looking to overcome heading into the new campaign.
