As the Dons lost right-back to clauses in loan agreements and injury it was Adam, a left-back by trade, who stepped in to the troublesome position. A focused individual with a natural ability to read the game, he will be hoping to build on the 30 first team appearances he made last season.
Born and bred in Milton Keynes Adam is a huge hit with the Dons supporters and gained valuable experience during a loan spell with Leyton Orient last year. Adam’s biggest challenge this year has been trying to dislodge Dean Lewington from his favoured left-back but he has become a versatile player for Robinson, filling it on either wing and at right-back.
