Giorgio Rasulo has been on the cusp of the first-team squad since signing professional terms in May 2014 and he’ll be hoping to make an impact in 2016/17.

The Banbury-based midfielder, who began his career as a striker, made his debut for the Dons in November 2011, coming on as a second half substitute in the 6-1 FA Cup victory over Cambridge City at Stadium MK.

His impressive performances for the Under-18s earned him a first call-up to the England Under-17 squad for the Victory Shield match against Scotland, where he went on to score a late winner to secure the trophy for the Young Lions. Rasulo also finished as second top goalscorer in England Under-16s’ Montaigu Tournament.

Still only 19, Rasulo has featured over 15 times for the Dons’ first-team, while he’s also enjoyed loan spells at Oxford United, Oldham Athletic and Aldershot Town – with the latter last season he scored his first senior goal.

Rasulo had the one-year option in his contract exercised at the end of the 2015/16 campaign, keeping him at Stadium MK until at least the end of this season.
