Captain Dean Lewington reached 600 appearances for MK Dons on the final day of last season, making him the Club’s longest-serving player by quite some margin.

Born in Kingston, Surrey, Lewington graduated through the Wimbledon Academy and is the only player at the Dons to have been with the Club since it was formed in Milton Keynes in 2004.

Renowned for his steady, solid performances, Lewington has been a consistent player through the years is usually the top appearance maker year-in, year-out.

Since taking the armband following Keith Andrews’ departure to Blackburn Rovers, Lewington has matured into a leader both on and off the pitch and commands the respect of both players and management alike.
