Milton Keynes Dons FC is delighted to announce details of our Development Centre Programme for 2008/09 Season.

Following on from last season's successful programme, 24 players progressed to experience Academy football at MK Dons FC from our Development Centres.

Our Development Programme provides boys playing in the age groups Under 7's to Under 15's professional coaching on a weekly basis with highly qualified professional MK Dons coaches.

We recognise the importance of developing and nurturing players at youth level all the way into becoming professional footballers. Players receive an unmatched football experience and guaranteed development as players.

During the 2007/08 Season, our players took part in an unforgettable fixture against Real Madrid FC, received a exclusive behind the scenes tour of stadiummk and had their photo taken with the Coca Cola League 2 Championship trophy and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy. As well as this a number of age groups received coaching from members of the MK Dons Academy coaching staff.

Our development programme provides a clear player pathway through to the MK Dons Academy teams and provides players with the highest level of coaching. Due to the success of the programme we have included three new age groups for the 2008/09 season. We will be running the following age groups - U9's, U10', U11's, U12's, U13's, U14's and U15's at the following venues - Newport Pagnell, Buckingham and Kingsbrook. At two of our venues we will also be running specific goalkeeping sessions.

Last season over 500 players experienced development centre football at MK Dons so we do advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.
