The Princes Trust has awarded MK Dons Football in the Community Scheme a 10th anniversary commemorative plaque as a valued supporter of the Trust's work.

John Dewick from Football in the Community received the plague recently, prior to our first team fixture vs. Chesterfield at stadiummk.

The Football in the Community Scheme at MK Dons have supported The Prince's Trust since 2003 with young people on the programme having the opportunity to attend MK Dons matches, receiving gifts for fundraising activities and taking part in team work and coaching sessions with Football in the Community coaches.

Jamie Roberts, Sports Development Manager from The Princes Trust commented: "Milton Keynes Dons Football in the Community Scheme has been a valued supporter of The Trust's work providing in kind support to our Team programme delivered locally by MK College.

"This has included coaching sessions, motivational talks, signed merchandise and match tickets which have benefited young people from the area on 13 Team programmes since 2003.

"To celebrate the achievements of the of the Initiative and to show our appreciation for all the support offered by MK Dons we are delighted to award our 10th anniversary commemorative plague, in recognition of all the support."

The Princes of Wales charity has helped more than 550,000 young people since 1976 and supports 100 more each day. 2007 is the 10th Anniversary of the The Princes Trust Football Initiative, which was originally launched in August 1997.
