Milton Keynes Dons Development Centres have been a big success since the programme was launched back in September of this year.

Over 170 boys have been receiving professional football training on a weekly basis at venues in and around Milton Keynes. The development centres provide a clear pathway from grass roots football to an advanced level.

Our programme provides boys from the ages of Under 9 to Under 14 a stepping stone to the MK Dons Academy teams. The centres are providing advanced coaching and training for players who wish to develop their technical and tactical knowledge of the game with an ambition to play for the MK Dons.

On Saturday 10th and 17th November 2007 all of the players at our Development Centres took part in a number of fixtures at the MK Dons Training Ground inside our Academy Dome. The football was of an excellent standard with all players displaying the skills they have learnt with their coaches.

For the players excelling at our development centres there is opportunities to progress through to our Elite Centres and the MK Dons Academy. We also have specialised goalkeeping training at one of our venues.
