Posted on: Mon 01 Jun 2009

Milton Keynes Dons Football Club is delighted to announce its strategic new partnership with local promotional clothing and merchandise supplier Dread.

The agreement sees Dread join the ranks of the Club's Partners and will run for the duration of the 2009/10 season.

In confirming the deal, Dons Executive Director Sue Dawson said: "It is with great pleasure that we announce our new relationship with Dread.

"We have already seen the outstanding quality of Dread's products through the equipment provided to our safety team and we are confident that this is just the beginning of a long and successful partnership."

From their state of the art office and manufacturing site in Stonebridge, Milton Keynes, Dread have built an excellent reputation as a leading supplier of corporate, promotional, team clothing and merchandising solutions throughout Europe.

With a reputation built in the highly demanding international sports arena, Dread are have supplied organisations such as Automobili Lamborghini, Red Bull Racing, Brother and Monster Energy.

They are equally adept at meeting the needs of local organisations such as Olney Rugby Club, Daytona Karting, Schools and Scout groups due to their flexibility and by having no minimum order.

For business gifts and promotional items there are often economic minimums, but these are surprisingly low. Getting clients "out of a hole" when deadlines appear impossible tight has become something of a speciality.

Their partnership with the Club will see Dread benefit from extensive match day visibility at stadiummk, primarily through the provision of 250 bespoke jackets and vests for the stadium safety team, which are to be worn at all stadiummk matches and events, including the Dons' home games and the upcoming England Under-21 international.

Dan Wheeler of Dread made clear how significant the new partnership is to his company.

He said: "Dread are absolutely delighted to be associated with the MK Dons and the stadiummk.

"We feel that the Club's ambition and promotion of community spirit accurately reflects the values held high at Dread."

MK Dons Head of Partnerships James Parkinson added: "I am delighted to welcome Dread as our Official Club Partner.

"Dread have shown their pedigree as an outstanding provider of exciting and forward-thinking promotional materials and clothing and this approach aligns perfectly with the Club's own ambitions and aspirations."
