SET BENEFITS FROM GOBERN GOAL
Healthy living giants Amway had to dig deep for charity this week due to a wager placed with MK Dons winger Lewis Gobern.
The American company, whose UK headquarters is based in Caldecotte, vowed to donate £500 to the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust for every goal Gobern scores during the season.

And after the talented Dons winger bagged his first of the campaign in the recent FA Cup win over Macclesfield Town at stadiummk, Amway, the Dons' healthy living partner, were only too happy to open their chequebook in support of the SET's work in the local community.
All the money raised from Lewis's goals this season will go towards the Trust's efforts to develop disability football across the region, with the first donation being presented from Amway UK/ROI Branch Manager Andy Smith to Trust representatives at last Tuesday's game against Northampton.
The initiative was inspired by Amway's sponsorship of Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho, which helped raise $100,000 for the AC Milan foundation, and is part of the company's One By One campaign that helps improve the wellbeing of children worldwide.

Andy Smith, Amway UK/ROI's Branch Manager said: "It's great to see Lewis get the campaign up and running and we're hoping it's the first of several goals for him this season!
"As healthy living partner to MK Dons, our aim is to contribute our expertise to the first team players but also to support MK Dons SET's new disability scheme through Amway's 'One by One' programme."
John Cove, chief executive of the MK Dons Sport and Education Trust, said: "We're tremendously excited about the relationship with Amway and the generous way in which they are supporting our work, especially our work with people with a disability.
"The whole of the Trust is urging Lewis to score every time he gets the ball and there was huge excitement when he scored his goal and netted £500 at the same time.
"We're looking forward to more goals, so no pressure Lewis!"
With the Dons still fighting on three fronts this season - Football League 1, the FA Cup and the Football League Trophy - Lewis will be aiming to keep the goals coming to the benefit of the both the team and the MK Dons SET.
MK Dons players already benefit from Amway's 75 years experience in nutrition and research by receiving expert advice and health products - including 'NUTRILITE Daily' multi-vitamin and mineral product that, through many natural plant substances, includes many phytonutrients and antioxidants; and the exclusive Strive isotonic energy drink for rehydration - as part of the Dons' strict training regime.
