The MK Dons Club Shop and the Online Store are now taking pre-orders for the 2008/09 away strip by Nike.

The kit will be launched on Friday 29 August ahead of the home game against Swindon Town on August 30, but will be worn by the Dons for the first time when they travel to Huddersfield Town on August 23.

Given the Dons' success on the road last season, the team saw a huge amount of success sporting the red second strip including the Club's historic Johnstone's Paint Trophy win at Wembley, gaining promotion at Stockport and securing the League 2 title at Bradford.

The new kit is sure to be popular among supporters and mirrors the design of the home kit. Dons red is complimented by flashes of white on the left sleeve and on the back of both shoulders with white piping round the sleeves.

The yellow away goalkeeper kit, as worn by Dons 'keeper Willy Gueret at Leicester City on Saturday, is also available to pre-order for release on the same day.

All pre-orders will be dispatched in time to be received by Friday 29 August, on which date the kit will be available on general sale from the Club Shop.
