Now entering his sixth season in Milton Keynes, only Dean Lewington has a longer-standing association with MK Dons than Aaron - a hugely popular figure both in the dressing room and on the terraces.

Aaron, or Alby as he is known in footballing circles, will begin the 2010/11 season with three landmarks comfortably in sight. The Knutsford-born striker needs just eight appearances to pass 200 for the Dons, five goals to pass 100 strikes for his career and just seven more to eclipse Izale McLeod as the Club's all-time leading goalscorer.

When not exhausting defenders with his physical presence and tireless work-rate, Alby is an exploiter of mental fatigue with his intelligent movement and is always mindful of his surroundings. His creativity and fitness has also seen him employed as a central midfield player.

He signed from Hull City in July 2005 after spending a promotion season with the Humberside outfit. Made his name with Stockport County, where he made more than 150 appearances, including fulfilling a boyhood dream of playing at Maine Road while still a Manchester City season ticket holder. He even scored in front of the Kippax for good measure.

Aaron has also had spells at with Norwegian club Moss and Oldham Athletic.
