A former Republic of Ireland Under-19 international, Charlie was a latecomer to life with MK Dons after joining the Club's increasingly productive Academy setup at the age of 16.
Having attracted interest from Tottenham while playing for London Schools, Charlie was snapped up by the Dons scouts and offered a two-year apprenticeship, which he duly went on to take full advantage of. While his first year saw him establish himself as a player of genuine Academy standard, his second saw him notch 13 goals in 23 games for a Dons Under-18 side that struggled in terms of results.
His chances to impress on the big stage have come towards the business end of the Dons' seasons over the last two-years. He has featured against the likes of Brighton and Hove Albion, Walsall, and more last season, against Oldham Athletic where he more than held his own.
The striker spent time on loan with Blue Square Bet Premier outfit Kettering last season, making five appearances for the Poppies.
