George is a secod-year apprentice whose hard-work and adaptability will go a long way to assisting his development to what he hopes will be a professional contract with the Club upon the completion of his time in the Academy.

A full-back by trade, but also capable of playing in central defence and as a defensive midfield player, George's performances for the Under-18s in the FA Youth Cup brought him to the attention of the first team management and earned him call-ups to the first team squad for the trips to Leyton Orient and Bristol Rovers during the 2009/10 season.
