2008/09 was Daniel's breakthrough season with the first team - a notion underlined when he signed his first professional contract with the Club in February 2009, aged just 17.
Having impressed at every level of the Academy setup since joining the Club as a 14-year-old, the Luton-born youngster has showed outstanding application in the final year of his apprenticeship and forced himself into Roberto Di Matteo's plans early in the campaign.
He made headlines in November 2008 when he came off the bench at Hartlepool to become the Club's youngest ever goalscorer aged 17 years 248 days and has since been a useful attacking weapon for the Dons, providing a different option with his direct, powerful wing play.
A tall player with a unique style and incredible pace, Daniel has shown a great deal of promise during the opening months of his professional career and Dons fans will watch the coming two years with great interest.
