The first graduate of the Milton Keynes-based Academy and the darling of the Club's supporters, striker Sam is considered by many to be the future of MK Dons.
A natural-born finisher with explosive pace and a sixth sense in the penalty area, Sam's true emergence began in the 2008/09 season, when his 13 goals helped the Dons to the League 1 play-offs. International recognition quickly followed, as Sam was named in the England squad for the 2010 FIFA Under-20 World Cup, where he made two appearances.
While frustrated by injuries during the 2009/10 campaign, Sam still managed to add to his growing reputation by scoring 10 goals in 28 appearances - the Club acting swiftly after an autumn purple patch to secure him on a long-term contract.
Having joined the Club as a 14-year-old, Sam has scored goals at every level of the Academy in what has been a meteoric rise. At the tender age of 16 he was already making headlines after scoring a stunning four goals in a 4-0 FA Youth Cup win over Brighton and Hove Albion.
Now moving into an important stage in his promising career, Sam will hope to be at the sharp end of a Dons attack competing for a place in the Championship.
