Goalkeeper David returned to MK Dons in 2010 as Karl Robinson's first managerial signing and earned the number on shirt at stadiummk. A great shot-stopper with fantastic athleticism, David started his career with Wimbledon and was part of the first ever MK Dons squad in 2004.
The Romford-born custodian made 25 appearances for the Dons before joining the then-European champions Liverpool in January 2006. David's four-year stay at Anfield saw him become a regular with the Reds reserves, who won the Premier Reserve League northern title in 2007/08, though his first team opportunities were limited by the outstanding form of Spaniard Pepe Reina.
He spent the 2008/09 season on loan with eventual League 1 champions Leicester City, making 30 appearances for Nigel Pearson's men as they clinched promotion to the Championship at the first attempt.
During the 2009/10 season he spent time on loan with Tranmere Rovers and Leeds United, before joining Championship side Derby County for a month as emergency cover for the injured Stephen Bywater.
In his first season back with the Dons David, son of West Ham legend Alvin, made over 50 appearances last season.
