PFS CELEBRATION EVENT
The latest group of youngsters to attend the MK Dons Playing For Success Centre celebrated their graduation on Monday night in the Grand Ballroom at stadiummk.
Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman was on hand to meet the graduates and present certificates to pupils from four different schools that have taken part in the scheme this term as they celebrated with their families and friends.
The centre, run by PFS Manager Angie Warde, provides an extra-curricular opportunity for youngsters to learn important skills in a stimulating environment, and where could be more stimulating than the heart of the Cowshed!
Over the course of the term, pupils from Lord Grey, Langland, Meadfurlong and Sir Frank Markham Community School benefited from the expertise of several MK Dons staff including physiotherapists Simon Crampton and Paul Collins and there was even a visit from Dons Player of the Year Dean Lewington.
This term's curriculum coincided with the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Final against Grimsby at Wembley, giving the two clubs' PFS Centres the chance to work together via video link-up.
