The Football League is celebrating its official charity partnership with Help the Hospices with a dedicated Help the Hospices Football Week, starting this weekend.
Football League's 72 clubs will show their support for hospice care during the week of action.
MK Dons is twinned with Willen Hospice as part of The Football League's official charity partnership with Help the Hospices, the UK charity for hospice care.
During Help the Hospices Football Week, MK Dons will:
- Hold a bucket collection for Willen Hospice at the home fixture with Exeter City on Saturday 10th March, kick-off 3pm
- Invite a hospice nurse to the Exeter match as a VIP guest
- Visit Willen Hospice to learn more about their vital work
- Wear sunflower badges to show support for Help the Hospices
- Players will warm up for the Exeter game in Willen Hospice T-shirts
- Match shirts from the game will be auctioned at the end of the season with all proceeds going to Willen Hospice
- Feature Willen Hospice in the matchday programme and on the Big Screen
- Organise a player visit to the Hospice and to one of the Hospice shops
- Invite supporters to bid for places for the half-time cross bar challenge with all proceeds going to Willen Hospice
- Invite MK Dons season ticket holders and members to donate their 5 per cent discount from purchases made in the Club Superstore to Willen Hospice.
