DONS TO HOST ADDICKS IN JPT

MK Dons have been handed a home draw against League 1 rivals Charlton Athletic in the second round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.

Having received a bye through round one, the Dons were paired with the Addicks in the southern section of Saturday morning's draw live on Sky Sports' Soccer AM.

It means the Dons, winners of the Trophy in 2008, will face the south London club twice in the space of a week, with the two sides going head-to-head in the league at The Valley on 28th September, followed by their Trophy date the week beginning 4th October.

The Johnstone's Paint Trophy has been an exciting competition for the Dons in recent seasons, with the 2008 win at Wembley followed by last season's run to the Southern Area Final.

Final dates and ticket information for the second round tie against Charlton will be confirmed in the coming days.
