Dons manager Paul Ince has confirmed the injury picked up by Sean O'Hanlon against Charlton on Saturday was a minor one and not a repercussion of his recent cruciate ligament trouble.
Concerns were raised at stadiummk as Sean was stretchered from the field in pain during the closing stages of the Dons' 1-0 defeat, which was his first start in nearly year since he sustained the long-term injury.
But Dons boss Ince breathed a sigh of relief when he was told that his stalwart defender has suffered a minor knock to his right knee, not the left one that kept his sidelined for nine months.
Ince told MK Dons Player after the game: "Sean's okay, I spoke with the physio and he's taken a stud to his knee which has gone right down to the bone.
"It's not the knee he's been out injured with, which is a good thing, and it's only a couple of stitches so it was a big sigh of relief.
"All in all Sean's okay, we'll see how he feels on Sunday to determine whether he can play on Monday."
