As the important first deadline in the 2010/11 season ticket campaign draws near, one group of friends have told mkdons.com why stadiummk is the only place they'd be on a Saturday afternoon.
Season ticket holders since the days at the National Hockey Stadium, 71-year-old Barry Brice, 70-year-old Terry Pinnock and 68-year-old John Mathieson have been regulars in the East Wing since the Club moved to their new home in 2007. And they can't imagine life without their weekend dose of live action.
Season tickets for the 2010/11 season are now on sale from the MK Dons Online Ticket Service and the MK Dons Box Offices at stadiummk and thecentre:mk, with the best prices and 12-month interest free payment available until Wednesday 31st March.
"It's just what we do on a Saturday," Barry told us. "We were all big football fans anyway but it's great to have a local team that play quality football. We like going together as it gives us somewhere to go on a Saturday aside from the pub!"
Terry added: "The tickets are really good value this year again and the Dons are playing well so it's worth getting down to stadiummk to watch them.
"We found it really easy to renew, it only took a few minutes in the box office so I'd recommend it! We just can't wait until the stadium's top tier is finished, and then everything will be close to perfect."
John was also impressed with the service offered at the Box Office and the ease with which he was able to renew.
He said: "We decided to renew because everything's been so good these past few years. The stadium's brilliant, we like the service, particularly at the reception and the box office where it's always pretty efficient, and we get to watch the team play well. Well, mostly!"
The various payment options available also gave the three friends reason to be impressed, with one taking up the 12-month interest free direct debit option, which is a new addition this year as long as your season ticket application form is submitted by the Wednesday 31st March.
