SET LADIES MANAGERS NIGHT

Posted on: Tue 09 Feb 2010

The MK Dons Sport and Education Trust will host a ladies teams' managers night later this month as it looks to strengthen its involvement in women's football.

MK Dons Ladies have been a huge success since their inception at the start of this season, competing at the top of the South East Combination while playing their home fixtures at Newport Pagnell Town's Willen Road.

But in the ongoing quest to improve the Ladies' setup and its relationships with other local teams, the SET will invite all managers from MK-based ladies teams to attend a special event at stadiummk on Tuesday 23rd February between 6.30pm and 7.30pm.

The event will include a presentation from the SET's Girls and Women's Development Officer, looking at female initiatives that your club and your players can be involved with. There will also be an opportunity for feedback on how the SET has and MK Dons Ladies can help your club develop.

There will also be a special guest presentation from Kay Cossington, FA National Project Officer (Women's) and England Women Under-19/20 coach, who will provide an update on the national side of the women's game.

All managers who attend the event will receive a free ticket for MK Dons' home game against Millwall on the same night, while all represented clubs will also receive an MK Dons SET goal card - entitling you to 10% off any of the SET's female initiatives.

For further information or to book a free ticket for a representative from your club, contact Charlene Ward on 01908 622888 or email charlene.ward@mkdons.com
