Dons midfielder Stephen Gleeson has been included in the Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad for their latest UEFA Championship Qualification double-header.
After three draws from their opening four games in Group 2, Don Givens' side travel to Georgia on Saturday 14th November and to Armenia three days later as they look to kick start their campaign for the 2011 Championships.
Gleeson, who has won 12 Under-21 caps for his country, will subsequently miss the Dons' League 1 trip to Charlton Athletic on Saturday 14th November.
After drawing their most recent Qualification game against group leaders Switzerland in Waterford, the Irish should take plenty of confidence into their game against Georgia in Tblisi, while Givens' side should be big favourites to overcome bottom side Armenia in Yerevan.
Following the completion of these two fixtures, the Irish will have no further Qualifiers until March, meaning Stephen should be available for all the Dons' fixtures over the crucial Christmas and New Year period.
