MK Dons captain Dean Lewington has been fined and issued with a two-match suspension after pleading guilty to an FA disciplinary charge.

Lewington was charged with use of abusive and/or insulting words following an incident during the League 1 fixture against Leeds United on Saturday 26th September.

The Club have been notified of Dean's punishment, which will see him fined £500 and banned for two first team fixtures starting from Monday 9th November.

Dean's suspension will see him miss the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Area Quarter Final against Northampton Town on Tuesday 10th November and the League 1 trip to Charlton Athletic on Saturday 14th November.
