Paul Ince's players swapped the training ground for the fairways on Monday as the Club hosted its inaugural Golf Day at Mentmore Golf and Country Club.
Several members of the first team joined up with some of the Club's key sponsors to take party in what will become an annual event, this year backed by Platinum Partners Case Security.
Boss Ince led from the front himself, captaining the WS Management team and coming away with two of the main prizes on the day. His longest drive of 312 yards scooped an Audi car for the weekend, kindly supplied by Milton Keynes Audi, and his Stableford score of 46 points saw him take home a golf bag from Case Security for the best captain's score.
But it was Ince's assistant Karl Robinson that skippered the day's winning team, City Renovation taking the winners' trophy and golf jumpers provided by the Mentmore Pro Shop.
Keen golfers Willy Gueret, Peter Leven, Dan Woodards and Luke Howell were all out on the course trying to steer their respective teams to victory - Leven lucky enough to be teamed with the legendary "voice of golf" Alex Hay for his round. The former BBC commentator, 76, showed fantastic touch around the greens and was more than happy to give a few pointers to Pete and his team from Case Security.

Karl Robinson was the day's winning captain with his team from City Renovations. |
Ince told MK Dons Player: "It's great for the players to get out and socialise in a different environment, and hugely important to give something back to the sponsors.
"There are a lot of companies involved here today that provide the Club with a tremendous amount of support and it's important we show our gratitude with days like today."
As well as the fierce competition in the golfing stakes, there was plenty of rivalry on the fashion front with most of the squad trying to outdo each other with their sharp attire.
Aaron Wilbraham came in for some particular stick for his brave choice of headwear, but the big Dons striker was happy to let his golf do the talking.

Aaron Wilbraham's choice of headwear was a hot topic of conversation around the fairways. |
Unnamed participants also faced strong questioning over their handicaps, with several performing with unprecedented skill and ability that defied their starting position.
A full round-up of the day will be coming soon to the Gallery Section and MK Dons Player.
