Full-back Sol Davis is handed a full MK Dons debut after recovering from injury to face Swindon in the Carling Cup.
Former Luton defender Davis missed Saturday's League 1 opener against Hartlepool with an ankle knock, but is one of three changes to the Dons side for the visit of the Robins, replacing Darren Powell in a defensive reshuffle.
Davis will slot in at left-back with Danny Woodards and Mathias Doumbe returning to their preferred spots of right-back and centre-half respectively.
Luke Chadwick misses out after picking up a knock against the 'Pools and is replaced by Lewis Gobern in midfield, while Michael Bridges is handed a first start alongside Jermaine Easter in attack as he looks to win a permanent deal at stadiummk. Bridges replaces the rested Jason Puncheon in the starting eleven.
Boss Paul Ince continues to be without Jude Stirling, Dean Lewington, Sean O'Hanlon, Stephen Gleeson, Aaron Wilbraham, Jabo Ibehre, Peter Leven and Danny Swailes through injury.
Former Dons boss Danny Wilson names a former Dons winger in his starting Swindon eleven, with Jon-Paul McGovern making his first appearance against the Dons since leaving the Club two years ago.
Former Leeds man Jonathan Douglas also lines up for the Robins, while the line is led by the dangerous Billy Paynter, who scored against the Dons at the County Ground last season.
