INCE MAKES DONS RETURN
Milton Keynes Dons Football Club is delighted to announce the return of Paul Ince as its first team manager.
Paul has signed a two-year contract at stadiummk and begins his second spell in charge of the Club, returning just a year after taking his first steps into Premier League management with Blackburn Rovers.
Ince became the Dons' most successful manager during his previous spell, guiding the Club to the League 2 title and the Johnstone's Paint Trophy during the 2007/08 season.
His appointment follows the departure of Roberto Di Matteo, who joined West Bromwich Albion earlier this week.
Dons Chairman Pete Winkelman said: "I'm absolutely thrilled to be able to bring Paul back to Milton Keynes. He enjoyed incredible success during his first spell with us and showed himself more than worthy of a shot at the Premier League.
"But we always felt he had unfinished business here and it feels absolutely right that he should return to the Club and build on the very momentum he helped to create.
"Paul's achievements and the manner in which he left meant we had to see him before we even considered anyone else and it was obvious straight away that the chemistry was still there. People like Paul Ince never lose their passion, their determination and their ability to inspire and we've already seen what those qualities can do.
"Paul remains one of the most talented young managers in this country and I'm enormously excited about what he can help us achieve."
Paul will be presented to the media at stadiummk on Monday before flying out to join up with his squad at their pre-season training camp in Portugal.
Announcements on additions to Paul's backroom staff will be made in due course.
