SPONSOR MOOIE'S HOSPICE WALK

Posted on: Fri 26 Jun 2009

Dons mascot Mooie the cow will join 999 women in walking 10 miles for charity in Milton Keynes' first ladies-only midnight walk.

The event is to raise money for Willen Hospice, who provide care to patients with life-limiting illnesses and their families in Milton Keynes and the surrounding area.

Ably assisted by Carol Fox from the Learning@theCowshed Education Centre at stadiummk, Mooie will be hoping to raise £1500 for what is an exceptional cause.

To make the event a night to remember, Willen Hospice need over 300 Herd Helpers to mootivate the herd, beef up their funds and keep them mooving on the night.Herd Helpers can be both 'cows' and 'bulls' (men and women to you and me).

The evening will have a tremendous buzz about it and joining us as a Herd Helper means you still get to be part of one of Willen Hospice's biggest and most exciting fundraising events.

To volunteer as a Herd Helper sign up online at www.mkmidnightmoo.com or call the Moo Hotline on 01908 306698.

To sponsor Mooie for the event and help her reach her £1500-target, log on to www.justgiving.com/mooiethecow.
